Hello world! I'm entering the weird, wonderful world of teaching high school physics. I've been an engineer for the last 25 years, and now I'm taking the plunge into the classroom with 30+ eager teenagers ready to learn if F really does equal ma.
There's TONS of stuff out there for explaining the equations and the derivations thereof. The vast majority of physics stuff is dry and not really related to things that students really care about (suppose Bob throws a stone off a 20m cliff. How long before it hits the ground? Assume no air resistance) I'm looking for inspiration for ways to connect physics in very real ways to student lives. Stay tuned....
